ftv15, A CHICAGOBLUES RECORDING - FTV-15, 1ST SEEDED ON DIME 2014-11-11, LINEAGE:, RECORD: AKG460'S>SONY TCD5M>MAXELL XLII CASSSETTE (MAX POINTS!), PLAYBACK: NAKAMICHI ZX-7 AZYMUTH ALIGNED>R-09HR 2448>SD>HD>CDWAV SPLITS DOWNSAMPLE 16 441>TLH FLAC8>, LOCATION: 10TH ROW DFC, NO EQ OR ADJUSTMENTS WERE MADE. THE FADE OUT AT THE END WAS DONE AT THE TIME OF THE RECORDING, THE TAPE FLIP WAS RIGHT AFTER TAMBORINE MAN AND DURING THE APPLAUSE, NO MUSIC WAS CUT, 1990 WAS A GREAT TIME FOR ME. A LOT OF TRAVEL, A GREAT GIRLFRIEND, LOTS OF GRATEFUL DEAD SHOWS, DYLAN, SHOWS AND DEAD TOUR AND GOOD FRIENDS. A NICE COMNINATION FOR A SINGLE MAN AT THE TIME.THE FALL DYLAN, TOUR WAS REALLY GOOD. THE WEATHER IN LATE OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER WAS IN THE 80'S MOST OF THE TIME. THERE, WAS THE USUALL SUSPECTS ON TOUR, PAT (PDUB), KEITH, MIKE, MICHELLE, SONIA, COOKIE, DEENA, BOB B, KEN, BEV, AND MORE. WE WERE ON OUR WAY BACK TO CHICAGO FROM THE DYLAN SHOW AT THE IOWA STATE FAIR, LISTENING, TO SOME DYLAN AND HAVING A GOOD TIME. THEN WE PUT ON THE RADIO AND HEARD THE BREAKING NEWS OF SRV'S DEATH, AT ALPINE VALLEY IN WISCONSON. A LOT OF TEARS WERE FLOWING THAT DAY. THE NEXT 24 HOURS WERE REALLY SAD, MELLOW AND WEIRD. WE DIDNT KNOW IF THE MERRILLVILLE SHOWS WOULD EVEN GO ON. BOTH SHOWS WERE EMOTIONAL AND, GREAT., WE HAD BOUGHT HOTEL PACKAGES IN ADVANCE BECAUSE YOU GET A ROOM AND GREAT SEAT FOR THE SHOWS. I HAD GOOD, SEATS FOR BOTH THE 27TH & THE 28TH. I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE A FEW MEMORIES OF THIS SHOW AND THE SAD EVENTS, SURROUNDING THEM. THE RECORDING CAME OUT VERY NICE. ENJOY

bittorrent download 11/14; cdr split not specified; this is different recording than LB-7114 based on different crowd at end of d1t2; in comparison that has a warmer fuller sound; (did not listen to all of this)
