version "g", No recording information available., ####, Notes on this version:, LosslessBob has several entries for Toronto 1975-12-02. They all appear to be derived from the same source recording. The first clue to that is the appearance throughout of the same partial Blowin' In The Wind, missing the start of the song. A close listen confirms that these versions do indeed have a common origin. Some of them are better-sounding than others, but this is likely the result of differences in numbers of analogue generations from the source (and possibly also later attempts at remastering)., (Some songs from this show are included on other LB entries, namely LB-6719 (mainly 1975-12-01) and LB-4508 (mainly 1975-11-20). These are not better than their counterparts elsewhere.), I have a version of this Toronto show in my collection which doesn't match any of the LB entries. This appears to be a CDR copy of a set issued on the Heartbreakers label, covered in an entry on BobsBoots. The BB site is now defunct, but the page concerned can be found preserved at this link: https://web.archive.org/web/20230325175130/http://www.bobsboots.com/CDs/cd-m09.html., I say my set "appears" to be the same because the artwork I've filed with it is that as shown on BobsBoots. The tracklisting does not match exactly, however, in that the second disc has two extra items, consisting in each case solely of Bob's pre-song chat. I'm pretty sure what I have is the Heartbreakers set, but that discrepancy means I can't be 100% about it., The BB entry has this to say: "Another great quality stereo audience recording of the Rolling Thunder tour. The entire show is presented here by Heartbreakers in as good a quality as any circulating tape." Well, my view is that the version I have is not just "as good as" the existing LB ones, but distinctly superior to them., The sound is clearer, making all the others seem a bit muffled by comparison. There is no obvious sign of previous tampering with the original recording. In particular, there's no clipping. Dynamic range looks decent., So, what Im offering now is a new version of this historic show, based on the set I have., Various flaws are noted in the existing LB entries. My set has many of these, though not all. I've fixed the ones I've found. There was a further issue, possibly unique to this set, which required a patch to One More Cup Of Coffee (of about 1/3 of a second) taken from LB-9279., The right channel was boosted slightly throughout and localised adjustments made to levels in a few places. Attempts were made at softening the transitions between breaks in the recording, which mostly correspond to changes happening on stage. It was a boisterous audience, but I didn't try removing any crowd noise as I think it's part of the appeal here, thereby preserving the concert experience. The tracks were recut, separating out two lengthy introductions by Dylan., No remastering was done (beyond the fixes and changes to levels described)., Some retro-style cover art is included., Enjoy, Bhoy, Jan 2026
