Subterranean Homesick Blues Lay Lady Lay All Along The Watchtower Stuck Inside Of Mobile Highway 61 Revisited You're A Big Girl Now Seeing The Real You At Last It Takes A Lot To Laugh Ballad Of Hollis Brown Maggie's Farm Mr Tambourine Man One Too Many Mornings Lonesome Death Of Hattie Carroll Tight Connection To My Heart -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Review: This CD represents the first two thirds of the 21 song show from Rio. It's from a mono tape recording directly off of the soundboard. The vocals and harp are nice and warm and way out front. (Actually a bit too far in front). The music mix is nice, but a bit buried under the vocals. The drums and bass are rich and fat. Because of the mono recording, however, GE Smith's lead guitar becomes a bit cold and thin. The band is tight. Dylan's performance ranges from good to inspired. Songs 2, 3, & 11 were broadcast on Brazilian TV the same month on a show called "The Best Of Hollywood" http://www.sharingthegroove.org/msgboard/showthread.php?s=&threadid=48821 Attachments: bd-Rio-25jan1990.torrent (33kB)
