Bob Dylan, 8/31/69, Isle Of Wight Festival, 1CDR LB-3720, (62min), version "d"; starting with the IOW complete audience tape remastered by Les Kookay and Pink Robert (LB-3513):, I used several parts of it to improve a "mixed tape" that I had for many years:, I borrowed St Augustine, One Too Many Mornings & Poor Immigrant, witch were a real improvement to what I had., I also added a few seconds at the very beginning on the concert, applauses and tuning between songs where that was possible., The last track comes from early Sept 69 'Campus', a program of french radio Europe 1:, Michel Lancelot, after broadcasting several songs ( I do not have the tape...), translates the difficulties of Ricki Farr to explain the audience that Dylan has really gone ..., The whole tape (except the official tracks) has been remastered with AudioClinic., I've just uploaded that new 'mixed tape'; all feedback very welcome!, Michel; in comparison to LB-3513 this one has dense spectral frequencies ranging up to 8k on t8,11,12 which come from pr/lk LB-3513 as that is the characteristic of that version, on t1, t13, t15, t16 up to 18k as officially released; the rest of the tracks are new and go up to 22k; they have a few occasional pops and a lot of background crackling noises; these new tracks have a much fuller better sound and make the pr version sound very narrow; the pr sourced tapes such as t8 still have some bad spots of distortion; overall all the new tracks are big upgrades in sound quality which more than compensate for the background crackling; good to very good to excellent sound [B] 1.
