LB-4414, (68min+79min+12min), JTT; "Transfer from 2nd Generation Tapes", Good to Excellent Stereo Audience Recording (Possibly Uncirculted), I received this recording in 1979 with notes that it was a complete recording, compiled from two sources. I don't usually agree with mixed source shows but, recently listened to it and found that although very disjointed the bulk of it, is possibly one of the best 1978 recordings I have. Two tracks were very poor, and I have left them out (but included them seperately in the torrent for anyone, who may wish to insert them). All bad joins have been either faded or seemlessly, joined to give a more pleasurable listening experience, I hate nothing more than, poorly edited shows with abrupt track ends etc., There are a few seconds missing at the starts of I think three tracks, but nothing, destructive or they would have been omitted. Playback levels between the two, sources have been adjusted as near as possible., As with all my transfers NO Normalisation or other alterations have been made, to the sound unless stated., Source: Master Tapes (Main Source most likely Uher Open Reel)>2 x Sony CHF D90 (GS)>, Sony D3 (Playback)>Soundforge 8 (Track Marks, Edits, Fades, Level Adjustment & Balance)>, FLAC (Level 6, Align on sector boundaries), Mastering & Artwork by JTT, January 2007, ; bittorrent download 01/07; in comparison to LB-264 this one is warmer sound but has hiss; hiss is stronger on second source d1t11-15; main source (d1t1-10 and d2) is same recording as LB-264 based on same clapping and crowd at d1t3 4:0x and same "excuse me" d1t10 0:21; second source is different recording based on different crowd at end of d1t15 and having background talking starting at 2:50 on d1t12; good to very good sound [B-]; background talking d1t10, d2t2; I did not find the rejected tracks too difficult to listen to
