The seller says that the tape, which contains three versions of a song called "Sidewalks, Fences and Walls," was given to him by album producer David Briggs. He says that Briggs, who died in 1995, came to his house from a recording session "early on a fall morning. I answered the door. David Briggs says, 'I've got a gift for you! Sit down. Smoke this. Listen to this. I just came from the studio with Bob Dylan and this is for you! "Sidewalks, Fences, and Walls."'" Bidding on the tape starts at 12-thousand-500 dollars. -- David Sprague"
