As an example, GE Smith's masterful Tele work is much more prominent here, making "Absolutely Sweet Marie" and other tracks much better! Listen to the intro of Clapton's "Don't Think Twice" (easily one of his best performances EVER), and you will hear an audience mix for the first second or two. This mix also highlights the difference between EC's woody, overdriven, dry (i.e. no reverb) guitar tone, and G.E. Smith's wet (i.e., drenched in reverb), Tele spanking Fender Blackface tone. Personally ... I think the Suits at the record label missed the boat - this mix is better! Lineage: Silvers > CD-R > EAC v. 0.99 Prebeta 5 (Secure, Offset Correct) > FLAC Artwork, checksums, info file, and EAC logs included. Enjoy! ~Geetarz, August 2010 www.geetarz.org
