Bob Dylan Hop Farm Festival, Kent, UK 2010-07-03 Recorded and mastered by Pike1957: Fairly central, about 20 ft from barriers. Church AUdio CA-11C Cardioids -> Church Audio ST-9000 Preamp -> Microtrack 2496 (48khz, 24 bit) -> Adobe Audion 3.0 (VOlume adjustments, eq tweaks) -> Audacity (track splits, resampling) -> FLAC (level 8, 44.1khz, 16bit) Contrast clause: This is a completely different recording from this one shared earlier: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=313448 Different equipment, different recorder, different location, different sound. I'll up a sample, so you can compare. Having Charlie back in the band seems to have revitallised him, and it's great to see Bob playing guitar and trading licks. Crowd is very lively, but it's great to see (and hear) a young crowd so obviously enjoing seeing Bob (contrary to many of the reviews). I'm not sure why, but the sound here was much boomier than it was for Ray Davies, which came out much better without the tweaking. After tweaking though, this doesn't sound bad at all. You can hear the crowd singing along on the choruses, but otherwise, not too much intrusive chatter. Enjoy!
