Bob Dylan live at the Capitol Center, Largo, MD (just outside of DC), October 5, 1978.  Recorded from the left side, from the stands/risers about 20 feet above and facing the band's left profiles.  Clear line of sight to the stage. Recorded using a Yamaha portable cassette recorder with manual level control on Capitol cassettes.  

These files are made from the master tapes of a recording that has not circulated previously (other as cassettes other than one or two copies made for friends shortly after the concert that do not appear to have entered the trading pool).  

This recording is not related in any way to the only previously circulating recording of this concert, which has circulated as LB-4575   (http://jokerman.org.uk/lb/detail/LB-04575.html) and as LB-5408 (http://jokerman.org.uk/lb/detail/LB-05408.html.).  

Happily, this recording is a very significant upgrade to the previously circulating recording in terms of sound quality.  While the last two-thirds of Forever Young is somewhat muffled thanks to a coat that someone unknowingly placed on the recorder, even this muffled section is clearer than LB-4575 or LB-5408.  The other known flaw in this recording is that the beginning of Sooner or Later is slightly clipped.
