Bob Dylan, xx/xx/71, Phone conversations with AJ Weberman, 1CDR LB-11327, (51min), aj weberman lowgen, Jan 8-9 1971, Dylan tries to correct a magazine article before publication and generally tries to reign in his most active critic at the time., The first short call was on a Friday. Dylan says he'll call back after the weekend but actually called back the next day. The correct dates were published in the only existing discography at the time but many years later, someone decided the original discographer was deaf and stupid, and changed the 2nd date to Monday, though the original dates were correct., This is 1st or 2nd gen from the original cassettes., This was released on a Folkways bootleg (probably incomplete- someone should check). Folkways discontinued the disk after getting a letter from Dylan's lawyer. Most circulating copies probably come from that disk., /Lowgen Feb 2014, 1 introduction by AJ 0:46, 2 first phone call Jan 8 (2:51), 3+ second phone call Jan 9, in 5-minute segments, total time 50:55 --------------------------------------------------- bittorrent download 02/14; has light tv band; close to mono; in comparison to version on various 60s dvd-38 LB-4819, this has a warmer fuller more natural sound and that has more distortion; (did not listen to all of this) --------------------------------------------------- 1 introduction by AJ 0:46, 2 first phone call Jan 8 (2:51), 3+ second phone call Jan 9, in 5-minute segments, total time 50:55 --------------------------------------------------- Please retain this info file and its LB number as a marker for this lossless set and if you spread it please list it in the description to avoid others getting duplicates
