This is partly due to the Big Z playing it safe, previously the shows were more unpredictable, this worked sometimes and was less successful at others as he was apt to noodle and screw up the bands timing when he was playing guitar. The new approach is much tighter. Enthusiastic but well behaved audience, no talking during songs. Missed about 3 seconds of the start of set two as there was no warning they were going to begin again, they just started playing as people were returning from the break. Lights dimmed, music began immediately. This tour had no surprises, pretty much the same set list every night. Great show, but abominable lighting, I only saw the expression on Dylan's face twice during the whole show and that was during the acknowledgement of the applause at the end of the show. http://www.bobdylan.com/ Many thanks to Dave for sending this fine show my way!
