Love Sick Notes: Please read the notes and listen to the samples before you download this. I'm hoping someone else was able to pull a cleaner recording than this, but since nothing else has popped up yet I'm going to go ahead and get this out there. I had a spot as close to the stage right PA as I could get which is where I taped Bob before. Unfortunately, people around here think that being at a show outdoors on a lawn means that they should treat it as though they're at their neighborhood bar and a cover band is playing or that they're at a baseball game and think that nobody around is actually there to listen to the band perform. Parts of the show are relatively free of crowd noise, but it increases in the second set of course. It's not as bad as it seemed in person, but it's all we have unless someone posts something better. Despite the asshats in the crowd I still enjoyed the performance, and Bob seems to be having a good time. Oddly enough, it seemed as though the crowd was quieter during the cover songs he played off the two newest albums compared to when he played originals. Go figure. Below are two samples. One is from when the crowd was OK, and the other is not.
