Bob Dylan, 6/6/91, Rome, Italy (Palaeur), LB-12326, (80min), dat transfer; 48k, From an old DAT (received in trade, 1994-04-16). Compared to [LB-3583 - xref-00719], this has the same slow clap at the beginning of Mr. Tambourine Man. The LB-3583 listing reports its lineage as "AUD Cassette Master > DAT" etc., but I have always thought this was actually an early digital recording. Be that as it may, it seems to me that this iteration has notably less hiss than the copy of [LB-3583 - xref-00719] I have heard., TRANSFER DATE: 2016-07-21, WHAT I DID: DAT > WAV > Sound Forge (split into tracks) > FLAC > Windows explorer (tagging), WHAT I DID NOT DO: resample the files (they remain @ 48 khz, just as on the original DAT, so you will have to convert them yourself in order to burn to CD.), All thanks to the original taper and to the person who sent me the DAT (who may or may not be the same person)! --------------------------------------------------- probably same recording as LB-3583 based on same crowd and clapping at end of d1t1 and d1t7 but could be just very close by tapers; this has a fuller warmer sound than that; (did not listen to all of this) --------------------------------------------------- 00 intro, 01 When I Paint My Masterpiece, 02 Lay Lady Lay, 03 All Along The Watchtower, 04 The Man In Me, 05 Gotta Serve Somebody, 06 Wiggle Wiggle, 07 Bob Dylan's Dream, 08 Homeward Bound, 09 It Ain't Me, Babe, 10 Mr. Tambourine Man, 11 People Putting People Down, 12 Everything Is Broken, 13 Man In The Long Black Coat, 14 Shooting Star, 15 Highway 61 Revisited, 16 I Shall Be Released, 17 Like A Rolling Stone, 18 I Want You, ** --------------------------------------------------- Please retain this info file and its LB number as a marker for this lossless set and if you spread it please list it in the description to avoid others getting duplicates
