Bob Dylan and His Band 1997-08-27 Noblesville, IN (Deer Creek Music Center) From an old DAT (received in trade, 1997-09-06). Does anyone need another Noblesville, really? (Conflicted sigh.) The current LB recording (LB-3300 / LB-6203) is rightly sound-rated A. I have two different DATs of this show, and although neither of them seems to have the track 01 "mic noise" mentioned in the listings, one of them DOES have the small dropout at the beginning of track 07 (Mr. Tambourine Man), so I'm supposing that is the LB. This is the other one, a different recording based on different crowd noise at the end of track 06 (Roving Gambler), and although there's nowhere to go from "A" I actually find this recording to be slightly more "up front." It is not overmodulated at any point but some of the louder songs do have square-ish waves (eg: the right channel of track 14) as if the sound has been limited in some way. (I see it but I don't hear it.) TRANSFER DATE: 2016-10-22 WHAT I DID: DAT > WAV > Sound Forge (split into tracks) > FLAC > MP3tag (tagging) WHAT I DID NOT DO: resample the files (they remain @ 48 khz, just as on the original DAT, so you will have to convert them yourself in order to burn to CD). All thanks to the original taper, and to the person who sent me the DAT. 01 Absolutely Sweet Marie 02 Senor (Tales Of Yankee Power) 03 Tough Mama 04 Positively 4th Street 05 Silvio 06 Roving Gambler 07 Mr. Tambourine Man 08 Tangled Up In Blue 09 Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again 10 Shooting Star 11 Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat, 12 Like A Rolling Stone 13 My Back Pages 14 Highway 61 Revisited ***
